So, as you all know by now, there are a whole bunch of items retiring from this current catalog. What you may not know is that there are some tricks to navigating this whole retiring-item thing. Some of the things on your list may not be discontinuing - yay! That's great! But you do need to know that even if the items are sticking around, the bundled price of 10% IS NOT. So here's a nice, concise list of which bundles are going away so you can make sure you get them for a discount while you can!

You can purchase any of these bundles through my online store - and make sure you use the host code KTSAGV3Q! I am doing this as a Mystery Host party - so the host rewards will be split between four of the orderers - first draw gets 50%, second draw gets 25%, and third and fourth draws will each get 12.5%. YAY! There is already over $50 in free stuff on this order!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy stamping :)

Product Spotlight Blog Hop: Watercolor Dragonfly Dreams!

hey friends!

Thanks for stopping by for this week's Product Spotlight Blog Hop. You may have clicked over from Robbie's blog (if not - click through the hop until you get to her!).  Today we're featuring the Dragonfly Dreams bundle, which - yay! - is carrying over into next year's Annual Catalog. Today I decided I would pair it with the Silver Foil Sheets embossed with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. If you don't already own this embossing folder, open a new window, go to the SU website and add it to your cart, then come back. You need it. It is a must-have, just like paper, ink and stamps!!

Isn't it crazy?! That was just plain silver foil cardstock. The Hexagons embossing folder changes it so much!!

To make the watercolor wash background, I used watercolor paper with the Watercolor Pencils - in Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight. Then I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to blend the colors. You'll be happy to hear that the clear pen is not being discontinued - but the gold one is! So go back to that other window you have open with the hexagon embossing folder and quickly add the gold Wink of Stella, then come back. Good.

You might be looking at the stamp set and wondering where the sentiment came from. I took a black Stampin' Write marker and just colored the "Thanks" portion of the stamp, and stamped it in the corner. That's my supersneaky trick for making cards say whatever I want.

That Pacific Point Designer Paper is from the Party Animal Designer Series Paper, and the ribbon is from the Succulent Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. And of course, the dragonflies are from the awesome Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.

Thanks for stopping by! Now go see Joni (and the rest of the blog hoppers) and then submit your order for that fabulous embossing folder and gold Wink of Stella. And maybe you'll want to add a few things of your own accord :) Don't forget to drop me a comment to let me know you stopped by. Thanks, and have a wonderful day!

Bye!

Wood Textures OnStage Product Spotlight Samples - Part 2/2

Hi friends!
As promised, here is the second set of my samples from OnStage. I was so excited to be asked to demonstrate the Wood Textures suite! These items will be available for purchase in June, but I wanted to share a little sneak peek with you all so you could see what I had been working so hard on!

These flowers were just begging to be paired with lace.

See that copper trim? It's a mesh tube! I opened it up and inserted a piece of white cardstock into it. :)

And who wouldn't love to make this adorable set of six cards?! I made a double-long crate to hold them by cutting out four crates and then trimming off the ends on two of them. With the focal point in the middle, the join is hidden.

I am also including the video that I posted on Facebook Live for those of you who don't do the facebook. :)

Thank you for stopping by to see my projects! Which was your favorite?

Product Spotlight Blog Hop

Hey Stampers!

Welcome to the Product Spotlight Blog Hop. You may be just starting the hop or you may have come from Robbie's blog. Whatever the case, WELCOME HERE! and please go and check out the other hoppers today!

Today, our challenge was to feature the Dragonfly Dreams suite. I added an extra challenge for myself - I wanted to show you some of the items that we'll be saying goodbye to here soon - they're on the retiring list. There are some smokin' good deals there - so go and check it out! I have a fantastic promotion going on for any of you Canadian stampers - when you place an online order using the host code KTSAGV3Q, you'll get entered to win some of the host rewards! There will be 4 names drawn - the first will get 50% of the host rewards to spend, the second 25%, and the third and fourth will get 12.5% each. How fun is that?! And there are already enough orders to qualify for host rewards! yay!

OK, so back to our challenge. Here's my card :)

My card features the Hello, Lovely Project Life cards and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits. I think I may have set myself a record for the least number of items I used to make this card. Haha! My cards so often have things pulled from a few different places. That's one of the things I love about Stampin' Up! - it can be used soooo many different ways. The retired items I mentioned earlier? The Hello Lovely Project Life Cards and the Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Seriously. Go scoop them both!

Thanks for stopping by! Now go check out Joni's blog. Make sure you leave us all a comment to let us know you stopped by!

OnStage Sneak Peeks! Part 1/2

This past weekend, I attended one of Stampin' Up!'s biannual conferences in Calgary, Alberta. SO.MUCH.FUN. I roomed with a few of my closest Stampin' Up! friends and we had such a great time. Not only did we get to see and play with new, as-of-yet-unreleased product, we got spoiled like crazy. Stampin' Up! Canada sure is a great company to work for!

Anyhoo, I was so excited to be asked to be a Product Spotlight presenter at the conference. This meant that Stampin' Up! sent me brand-new product that won't even be released until JUNE and I got to introduce it to the other demonstrators! I also got to play with it ahead of time and make some samples to show it off. So, without further ado, here are some of my samples. I hope you like them! Please leave me a comment to let me know which one is YOUR favorite!

This can be a cute little gift bundle, complete with matching stamped envelope. That Pool Party strip on the card is the same paper as the circle piece; just sponge brayered with Pool Party ink.

Wouldn't these be cute on your Thanksgiving table? A candle holder and name place cards with a little space for treats. (HINT - 2 Kcups fit perfectly inside that little crate!)

I know a few people who might be getting this one this year! helloo, Starbucks!

Thanks for visiting! Now, tell me, which one was YOUR favorite?!
