Sure Do Love You (some more!)

Here's Part 2 of 3 of our February Stamp Club projects! This one is intentionally simple - it is a cute little box made from the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies, and the leftover heart from the previous posts' card. Then, I just added a card base and stamp, and some Painted with Love Designer Series Paper, and viola!

I love these because they make super cute, easy boxes that would be perfect for a small chocolate bar or candy pack. Great for Valentine's Day, or Easter, or birthday favors... the list is endless!

Sure Do Love You!

I loooooove this stamp set and framelits bundle. SO much. And this paper - the Painted with Love pack, is my absolute favorite thing in the Occasions Catalog! We made this card at Artisan Stamp Club this week - come and visit over the next week to see the other projects we made!

I started by stamping the heart with versamark using the new Stamparatus... you are going to love it. It's coming out in June, and you will want to have your order ready to go for it then!! It is a beautiful product. I then embossed the heart with white embossing powder and cut the heart out using the framelit in the bundle. I made this into a shaker card using window sheets and the new Gold Glitter Flakes (which, by the way? awesome!!), and then finished it off with a little banner, bow, and gold metallic thread. Easy, peasy, and totally gorgeous. I think I'll make a few of these with the kids this weekend, and show them how to make shaker cards!

Up & Away, Valentine!

Are you getting sick of this set yet? ;)

I'm not. 

I'm pretty sure that at least one of my kids will be going to school in a couple weeks with a couple dozen of these for their classmates. They're so stinkin' adorable! Or, as my Tasha used to say, "adorbable." I miss those baby words!! They're slowly disappearing and she's starting to talk like a wannabe teenager. It's going by so fast.

ANYHOO, back to the cards. I sat down on the floor by my paper racks and started to shuffle through colors. I wanted to get an ombre effect here, so I chose 5 colors that did it for me. Here, I've chosen Real Red, Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. And then I layered it with a silver balloon. Foil or Glimmer - what's your preference? I like 'em both. Shiny AND sparkly!! On the foil one I added some enamel circles and hearts, just for fun.

A Valentine Box

I had the pleasure of leading a workshop for a friend of mine this weekend. It was so fun to stamp with her and her friends, and get to give away a couple of things too! This was the hostess gift I made for her - a little valentine hexagon box with some chocolates inside. The great thing about this box (made with the Window Box Thinlits) is that the space is big enough that there are TONS of options for what to do with that front hex space. In this one, I took a heart framelit from the Sweet & Sassy set and cut the heart opening and then filled it with the Glassine Sheets! Sweet & Simple!

Bear Hugs!

OK. There are just so many new adorable stamp sets and accessories coming that I can hardly stand it!! The set I used in this card is one that I *just.had.to.have.* It reminds me of the bear from the Under The Stars set that we used to have, that I drooled over... that I bought just before it retired. :( But this one is brand new and it has matching framelits! Yay!! I love it. So excited to share it with you today!!

I love it when a set is both ADORABLE and easy to use!! And perfectly-matched framelits make it so easy to cut those stamped pieces out. And this set has lots of uses... it's got stamps for all occasions. It also includes a really cute fish stamp that is definitely going to be working for its shelf space! We'll be making this card at club on Wednesday. Are you coming?
